Shawndell Dawson brings 28 years of leadership in violence prevention, including federal executive service directing $1 billion+ in investments serving 1.3 million survivors annually. She served as a leading co-chair for the first U.S. National Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence, launched a $198 million national sexual assault services program, and secured a $95 million appropriations increase for victim services.
